The Travel Bug
Haven't done one of these in a while!
1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?
Central Australia last October
2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?
Sydney Airport assuming that I could speak Chinese when I left my travel documents at the x-ray machine and metal detectors, just because I have a chinese surname, and I was flying to Hong Kong. Lucky for me, I realised that I had lost them, and knew where I'd left them and ran back to the right place before my plane boarded, before they even announced it, and they didn't even bother to announce it in English after the Chinese! And yes, I do speak Chinese!
3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?
I would go on another Summer Project to the Middle East, then unwind by going to the Greek Islands, the rest of Europe and spend a few weeks in each country. I would then go to the Whitsundays and soak in some Australian sun and sea before coming home. Hmmm, that should kill at least several months to a year!
[Edited 11/8/03] I also forgot to mention that I'd also go to Africa and go on Safari!
4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?
That would depend on the distance.
5. What's the next place on your list to visit?
Darwin for a conference. Can't wait...mini holiday! =)
