Miss Forgetful And One Of Those Days...

I was at work on Tuesday looking at internal job ads. There was one ad whose closing date happened to be today. Cool I thought, I'll get my act together and type up the necessary letters over my two days off, and hand it in today. Miss Forgetful, aka Yours Truly of course completely forgot until my head hit the pillow last night. That's ok, I thought, I'll just e-mail my CV to one of the clerks in Cardiology, who'll be able to print it for me while I'm at work tomorrow, and when it's quiet, I'll type up an application letter and hand it in by the end of the day...no sweat. Well, it just wasn't going to be that easy was it?! It turns out that today of all days had to be that clerk's day off...GGGRRRRR! So that was the end of that idea! Next, to type the letter, I needed the ad no. so I went online to look at the job ad again...but of course! the closing date is today, so the ad automatically got taken off yesterday! Luckily though admin had a black and white copy that I was able to borrow. :)

It took all day, but I finally got the letter in, just need to hand in my CV first thing Monday. The Procrastinator strikes again...
