This flu bug is causing amnesia
I totally forgot, until I rang Zoë at work today (about something totally unrelated to work) that today is International Midwives' Day. So happy midwives' day to me, and to any midwives out there who happen to stumble across this blog! 29 of my colleagues are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate, apparently. (The poor place is going to be bombarded with midwives! Yikes!) I'm not going though. Half of me wants to go, the other half doesn't, but luckily, this flu I've got has made the decision for me, as well as my empty wallet! Besides, I've still got a church history essay I'm trying to write, unsuccessfully, mind you, due to all the dizzy spells I've been having today!
