Greetings from hot,cold, rainy, sunny, overcast London!
Yup, arrived on Thursday and that's exactly what it's been like. Typical English weather. All four seasons in the one day, where you can be standing in the Globe Theatre watching The Tempest in a poncho in the pouring rain one minute, with the wind howling, while you were standing in the hot sun by the Thames outside the Tower of London admiring Tower Bridge not two hours before that in a t-shirt getting sunburnt...
Finally caught up with Karen and met her cousin and friends to see the aforementioned production. We then had a very late dinner at the pizza joint next door where our orders were forgotten and didn't actually eat our main meal til almost 11!!! Not happy Jan! Photos will appear when I finally pay an extensive sum of money to have all my photos burnt onto CD. You'll just have to wait til then! Otherwise, have enjoyed London thoroughly so far except for their very early and inconvenient last entry times to paid exhibits. Grrr... Have met many lovely locals, and met up with many familiar faces from home.
Off to Bath and Stonehenge tomorrow, in a hired car. Night!!! (It's 10:40 pm as I write this at an internet cafe on Sunday night.)
