Hmmmph! =(

So here I was all excited this morning thinking that the woman I was taking over from Zoe would have a baby for me after another couple of hours. So much for first-time mums! I should have guessed we would take for ever to get to fully dilated then another couple of hours to have a baby after that! I didn't even have lunch! (And it was free FOR ONCE courtesy of the hospital, and I didn't even get a chance to take advantage of it!) NHJ! =(

While on the subject, I'm eagerly awaiting the birth of a fellow midwife and good friend's second baby, EDC's tomorrow. Just reminded her (without fully spelling certain things out, of course) of all those things she could do to speed things up! *wink wink*
