Sleepless...

Now, the downpour I briefly described here a few weeks ago was nothing compared to the one last night!! I'm surprised my car wasn't flooded or anything. I don't think I slept a wink last night 'cos the rain was so heavy and loud, and I'd had a lovely fix of chocolate ice cream and roulade for dessert for the second SaltLight dinner, which probably didn't help due to all the caffeine in the chocolate! The dinner though was yum! Vron's roast beef with all those herbs *licks lips*, grilled zucchini, capsicum and roasted kumera chips and mashed potato... almost heaven! I think the cooking went quite well considering that there were only the two of us cooking as two people coldn't make it. And, we got a sneak preview of another 2 new songs (that we didn't get to hear on Saturday) which was very cool.

Ok, enough rambling, must have breakfast now (Mmmmm yum...mashed potato...) (as I only just crawled out of bed!) and will probably go back to bed again soon after that, so that I will be semi-lucid for beloved night shift tonight....*shudder*
