And Three Days Later...

I've been meaning to blog this for a number of days now, but one thing after another...

It's been a rather not-so-nice year so far for many reasons, the main one because I've been struggling for a long time now with my undisciplined walk with God and being discouraged by many people and many things and in turn discouraging other people with things I''ve either not done, not said or vice versa. It was good though on Sunday when in a very relaxed state, I turned up to church and for once really took notice of the words of the song we were singing. This verse suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks all over again.

You loved me
When my heart was turned against You,
And You loved me
Even though my eyes were blind.
You called me Your child,
Led me by the hand,
Made Yourself be known,
Let me understand forgiveness
That comes from You.

Ouch. God has very good timing, for Him to whack me across the face that night is very appropriate to my life right now. You'd know what I mean if you knew what was going on in my life and in my very screwed up head.
