Not Happy Jan

I am totally exhausted today. I can’t even blog about it when I want to because Blogger’s down, (it’s currently 6:06pm on Wednesday) so, I am rambling on Microsoft Word first.

Firstly, I still can’t find the cross-stitching projects I’m in the middle of, and I have deadlines! (BTW, has anyone reading this seen them? They’re in a Grace Bros bag somewhere in Sydney!!) They’ve been missing since about two days before I went away, but I couldn’t be bothered looking for it before we left.

Secondly, work was yuck today, but it wasn’t the worst shift ever. It was sad, as today was the last day at work for Kim, who’s moving to Griffith with her hubby, and 2 daughters Jess and Gemma, so there was a combined afternoon tea for her and Jenny D. who resigned about 3 weeks ago after having worked at the hospital for 20 years, went on sick leave in about April this year for treatment of a rare form of breast cancer, but only decided to stop working indefinitely recently. She’s had her final treatment but now she’s recovering from burns from radiotherapy. *sigh* This is on top of a horrible year full of colleague's husband dropping dead in a shopping centre, plus grandfathers dying and funeral parlours giving wrong directions to family members to burial ground, resulting in family members missing the burial... I don’t know if this ED can handle any more resignations…We’re all hanging on by a tiny fraying thread.
