I'm Back!
Phew! My family and I are back from wild adventures in the Australian Outback...Ok, so going away on a trip like this with another family with 3 kids all under the age of 12 isn't really that conducive to that sort of adventure, (well, not the Steve Irwin kind) and looking back, there weren't any dramas at all, so overall, it wasn't that full of adventure either...Ok, rambling.
However, the point to all this was to point out the fact that we ended up coming home two days early. The itinerary drawn up by my dad's friend actually didn't have us coming home until Saturday night, but since we'd all seen what we set out to see, and we'd had enough of sitting in the car and not covering very much ground on any given day, we decided to head home early. We set off from Tambo in outback Queensland at 7:30am yesterday and drove virtually nonstop except for lunch and dinner and arrived home at 3:30 this morning! Very tired am I! Now there's a heap of unpacking and washing to do and heaps of film to go and develop. Pull up a VERY comfy chair but don't hold your breath for photos to be posted up...I'm going to do it, but I'm going to need to learn how, but it might take a while, so I don't want anyone to go blue in the face holding their breaths.
If there's one thing I can say with a huge grin on my face from this trip, it's that God is truly awesome, and His creation is truly amazing!
Now for unpausing the pause button that's been pushed on for the last two weeks and trying to catch up on the stuff that's been going on while I've been away!
