DC- District of Columbia
I only found out what DC stands for when I got here. It's been disgustingly hot and humid here, and the WWII memorial was unbearable the other day as the sun beat down on the marble and it felt like we were standing in a sauna!
I stood in the Oval Office and toured the West Wing of the White House on Saturday arvo, and stood out in the Rose Garden right after George himself went back upstairs to his private rooms.
Toured the Library of Congress and the Congress itself today, and even witnessed the passing of a bill in the House of Representatives right here in the US. Haven't even seen that in Australia!
Will be home on Friday morning. How time flies when you're having fun!!!
